Healing Essence was created by aromatherapist, Erica Straus. Erica discovered the power of essential oils in 2007, when her disability became extremely severe and a friend helped her almost entirely stop using pain killers by creating an essential oil blend for her instead. So she decided to learn aromatherapy to help herself heal. During her studies in London, UK, she discovered a passion for essential oils and realized that she could help other people heal too. 

In 2011, she launched Healing Essence, a small line of hand-blended, therapeutic and organic, essential oil products. In 2017 she published the book How to Heal with Essential Oils, available through this website or on Amazon.
